About Kevin McCurdy's Haunted Mansion:
• The Haunted Mansion is one of Americas oldest Halloween attractions. In 1977 the gates of Dutchess County’s Bowdoin Park opened, along with The Haunted Mansion. Now its its 38th season The Haunted Mansion takes fear to a new level. The only attraction of its kind in America that has guests participating
in ways never before experienced. It’s not just a haunted house anymore! Come experience an all new type of terror this year.
• Welcome to Kevin McCurdy’s Haunted Mansion, the original Hudson Valley Halloween tradition. For thirty seven years Kevin along with the Dutchess County Parks Department, have created an experience unlike any other in the country. Always at the forefront of innovative audience participation and interactive technology, the “Mansion” has introduced many firsts in the Haunt Industry and Halloween attraction venues.
The Haunted Mansion has always provided more than just the scare factor. We were one of the first haunted houses to utilize a storyline, allowing our guests to become part of the show. We were also innovators in the use of video technology as part of the mystery and illusions presented in our attractions.
Each year we strive to create a brand new experience, ensuring that our guests who return year after year are treated to a new show full of surprises. In 2015 we will be making many changes to all our attractions and our general operations in order to enhance the overall experience. We hope that our guests, past, present and future, enjoy this Halloween tradition for years to come. Season’s screaming!
